Whether she’s nailing cosy Christmas style in Victoria Beckham or serving elegant evening-wear in Safiyaa, Meghan Markle knows how to look chic.
But, not surprisingly, her royal outfits are far from cheap with Meghan Markle enjoying the most expensive royal wardrobe in 2018 according to royal fashion website UFO No More.
While we calculated some of her most expensive outfits, the style site slaved away adding up exactly how much the Duchess of Sussex’s royal wardrobe actually cost.
And out of 14 royal ladies across Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Norway and the Netherlands, Meghan’s wardrobe came with the heftiest price tag.
Sparing no expensive, in her first year as royal Meghan topped the spending list donning the dearest clothes and accessories.
Beating Princess Eugenie and Kate Middleton with her costly wardrobe.
The fashion website has calculated that Meghan Markle has spent an eye-watering €479,048 on new clothing over the last 12 months. And that isn’t even including her wedding gown.
While, recycling and high-street queen, Kate Middleton has spent a dramatically lower amount of €80,237, pittance compared to her new sister-in-law.
Princess Eugenie comes in lower again spending €37,512 on making sure she looked the part in the lead up to her wedding.
But like Meghan’s amount, the total doesn’t include her stunning royal wedding gowns.
With her first year being royal, Meghan certainly had a lot to dress for. Between the first royal tour and dozens of public engagements. Needless to say, many outfits were needed.
We saw her chose high-scale designers like Oscar De La Renta, Givenchy, Irish label Theia, and many independent brands like Outland denim.
But her wardrobe actually could have cost more than close to half a million.
Royal fashion site UFONomore only calculates new items that could be priced or estimated, so only 254 pieces of the 323 new pieces she wore were tallied up.
