Photography trends – are they on social media? Definitely yes. And what are they like on Instagram? And what are they like for professional photographers? German photographer Marcel Lesch, who is not afraid of either heights or trends.
Marcel Lesch, like many now, is a freelance photographer. “The reason I chose freelance is the ability to work freely. The only obstacle to my creativity is the elemental forces of nature, but they are also the reason why I love working in the open air. You can be completely ready to shoot, but the weather will bring surprises, ”says the German photographer. It was not for nothing that I mentioned at the very beginning that Marcel is a freelancer, and a successful one. How to photograph not only for yourself, but also to monetize your creativity?
According to the photographer, social media is an extremely important part of business. Marcel started Instagram in 2015. Let’s be honest: his account is filled with quite trending stuff. These are rocks, foxes, winding roads, lighthouses. All of this is a visual tasty morsel for any photographer.
“I am still fascinated by this location! See that little pier where little boats should dock? This is an adventure for them, ”comments Marcel. But despite the recognizable views, Marseille’s photographs are eye-catching – there are not so many plots in the literature either, but we keep reading. According to one version, there are 7 plots, according to another – 36. Agree, not so many.
“A place that attracts a huge number of photographers. Even dawn turns into a hangout with colleagues, but I understand that. The beauty of this place is unique, ”we read under one of the works.
Freelance is not only freedom, but also perseverance, courage, lack of fear of becoming commonplace. It is difficult to be accountable to yourself, but how much pleasure it brings. As if successfully moored to the lighthouse.
