Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are packing their things and moving from Kensington Palace! On Nov. 24, royal officials announced that Queen Elizabeth II is giving the soon-to-be parents a new home on the Windsor Estate in Frogmore Cottage. They plan on making their big move early next year to prepare for their future bundle of joy. Kensington Palace released a statement saying, “Windsor is a very special place for their royal highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.”
The two-story house is near Frogmore House where Harry and Meghan had their engagement photos taken as well as where they held their evening wedding reception in May. According to royal correspondent Emily Andrews, the royal abode is currently undergoing “a large refurbishment to turn it back from staff accommodation to a family home.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also moving, but they’re simply changing apartments within Kensington Palace. Although Harry and Meghan will have their own residential space, they’re still keeping their office at Kensington Palace.
Now we’re just waiting on those adorable pictures of the future baby Sussex playing in the beautiful gardens of Frogmore Cottage with Harry and Meghan. Gaahh!
