  • After the ceremony, Archer’s husband Chris Jackson, who happens to be a royal photographer, posted adorable pictures of her wearing her medal while posing with their son.

Over the years, Kate Middleton has cemented her status as a royal fashion icon, showing her range from ladylike skirt suits to princess-like gowns, while mixing high and low fashion pieces. The Duchess of Cambridge’s enviable looks are due in part to her long-time fashion stylist and personal assistant Natasha Archer, who has reportedly been working with the duchess since 2007, according to Town & Country. After years of working with the duchess, Archer was rewarded with a prestigious honor: her appointment to the Royal Victorian Order.

Archer’s husband Chris Jackson—a royal photographer with whom she shares a son—shared two darling images of the honoree to his Instagram profile. “Could not be more proud of this one! – forcing her to wear it through lunch! #MVO,” he captioned a headshot of his wife standing on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.

She wore a navy and white polka dot dress, gold and purple gemstone earrings, and an extra wide headband that kept her straight blonde hair out of her face. Beauty-wise, Archer’s mauve eye makeup and lipstick perfectly complemented her refined outfit.

After the ceremony wrapped, Archer had a meal at The Goring Hotel with Jackson and their four-month-old baby boy Theo, according to Mirror. “Evidence! (Forced her to wear it all through lunch),” Jackson captioned a photograph of his wife grinning while still sporting her covetable medal. She held their son, Theo, in her arms and he looked equally delighted to pose with his mother.
